Who we are
BLOCX Capital ("we", "our", "us") is a Dubai-based real estate firm. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit blocx-capital.vercel.app or otherwise interact with us.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us directly:
- Email address — when you submit it to our tokenization interest list or contact form.
- Contact details — your name, phone number, or other information you provide when you message us via WhatsApp, email, or phone.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically (IP address, browser type, pages visited). This is logged by our hosting provider for security and uptime monitoring.
We do not currently use analytics or marketing tracking cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
Your data is used solely to:
- Respond to your enquiries about off-plan, sales, or rental properties.
- Notify you when our tokenization product becomes available, if you've joined the interest list.
- Comply with legal obligations under UAE law, including anti-money-laundering checks where required by RERA and DLD.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not send marketing emails unrelated to your enquiry.
Lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form) and on legitimate interest (when responding to enquiries you've initiated). Where required for AML or regulatory checks, we process data to comply with UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to assist you, plus any minimum retention period required by UAE regulators (typically 5 years for real estate transaction records). Interest-list emails are retained until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under UAE PDPL you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct any inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Object to processing for specific purposes.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@blocxcapital.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and limited access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection. If a data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant UAE authorities as required.
Third parties
Your data may be processed by vendors who help us operate the business (hosting, email delivery, accounting). These vendors are bound by data-processing agreements and may not use your data for any other purpose.
International transfers
Some of our vendors are located outside the UAE. When data is transferred internationally, we ensure equivalent safeguards are in place, in line with PDPL requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting your rights, we will notify interest-list subscribers by email.
